Can you shift the path of your destiny?

As one gets on in life you begin to wonder just how much of your life is preordained. You begin to notice that your destiny seems to be set. The harder you try to shift yourself into a new role, the more life seems to throw you back into your same old position.

Is it concievable that there is mechanisim in place that controls the flow of sequence of events in our lives that we are not aware of?

For me it is certainly possible that there are more things that we are not aware of than that we are aware of. It is possible that some great wheel of Karma determines our fate. It is possible that some great arch angel is in charge of seeing that the right circumstances keep presenting themselves to us in our lives.

If a mechanisim is in place to determine our destiny, then is it possible that one can appeal to that mechanism for a waiver? Can you seek to reset your destiny by bold and daring appeals of words, action or behavior?

Consider making appeals to Destiny should you wish to shift yours.

Peace is the cessation of againstness. – John Roger

When I find myself stressed I find that it is a signal for me to wake up. As I posted previously I was having car troubles and I just had to let them go as troubles and realize that they are just machines going through their usefulness. When they are used up one has to fix them or let them go.

I was reminded of the quote by John Roger above. Peace returns when one stops their againstness. A perceptual shift occurs. Peace returns when one moves into the present and accepts what is.

As I mentioned a few posts back I have decided to reduce my posts on this blog in order to take care of my monetary now needs. I will be placing a donate button and some adds on this blog in the future. If you wish to help me to continue with this blog please participate by checking out the adds or by donating. I hope you are not offended by the ads. Thank you very much for being here with me and sharing these important subjects.

God bless

Life is really all about perceptions. It is like the old saying … the glass half empty or the glass is half full.

Yesterday was a prime example. I had one car overheat and another blow out a tire. I was fortunate to make it home in the first car without burning it up and I was fortunate to be able to change the tire on the other car in a safe place off the freeway.

Two events, two very possible different perceptions.

The perception is that while humans believe they use plants, it is possible that the plants are using us!

Do you wonder who/what is really in charge?

If you stop to realize that more than 90% of the biomass of the planet is plant based. Plants are the most successful biological organisms on the planet.

Many of the plants that are most successful use other organisims to maximize their territory.

For example flowering plants use birds and bees to spread their pollen. Plants use animals and birds to spread their seeds.

Is it an unreasonable stretch to say that perhaps some of the most successful plants use humans to spread themselves.

Fore example, plants that make themselves useful to humans are some of the most successful plants now. Mostly these are grain products, rice, corn, and wheat.

Anyway, it is an intersting perception.

The universe is full of abundance, yet most of us have little success in bringing out that abundance.

It seems that it is not fate that brings abundance but an unusual perceptual twist, new revelations, a new wrinkle of awareness.

Breakthroughs in awareness can bring wealth and wisdom. Look at recent creators of Facebook, Google, Twitter, Ebay, and Microsoft.

Information not generally available comes through cracks in awareness following powerful intent to solve some problem. Perhaps we should try to focus our intent more often when we encounter a problem?

A perceptual herbal consumer is aware that it is the spirit of the herb that affects his spirit rather than the herbs chemistry affecting his chemistry.

The chemistry of the herb is the byproduct/manifestation of the herbal spirit as the body of man is the manifestation of the spirit of the man.

That is why synthetic chemical drugs have more dangerous side affects. The spirit of the plant is missing.

Listening to my waking mind from the heart this morning, I had the impression of looking at a ball of twine.

I realized that this ball of twine is what my memories/thinking process has become …… a long line of thoughts where my perception has been living. You can imagine how this huge roll up in my head affects the proper functioning of my physical and mental processes. The same would be true for you.

Imagine what you and I could do and how we would feel if this twisted mass was set aside. (by changing the center of perception) Imagine how you would feel when your perception is centered in the presence of your heart, free from this convoluted mental ball of memories ……… judgements, fears, anxieties, indoctrinations, and “educations”.

I began to work with this sutle awareness, seeking to bring it into greater strength and clarity.

As you pay heartfelt attention you shift your center of perception from the mind to the heart. As a bonus you will notice a big drop in mental dialogue.

Practice becoming aware of the sensations that you can feel in your heart. Listen to sounds and sense how they feel in your heart. You will notice that some sounds stroke your heart sense more than others. For example, the cooing of the morning dove strikes a chord in my heart center.

Practice feeling the texture of things, the freshness, the sight, the sound, the taste, the smell, all as heartfelt sensations. Practice feeling the emotions of the environment.

Practice being aware of all of your senses and how they feel as sensations in your body especially in the heart center. Practice paying attention to your feelings as you exercise. I have started this practice as I do Tai Chi Qigong Shibashi exercises in the morning.

Practice paying attention to what your environment and body is telling you. Attend to discomfort rather than blocking its awareness. This is heart centered perception.
