The Guru of Life the Tao of Now

In other words stay with peace, harmony and grace that is what the Tao is all about. There is No Rush, No Urgency to learn the Tao.  The Tao is always here and always will be.  If one goes off in a blind rush to know everything right now they are only serving the ego and moving away from the peace, harmony, grace and source awareness that is Tao.

As we continue our practice of perceptual shifting more and more it is obvious that life is the Guru and provides all of the insight that is needed right Now.

As I have expanded my study to include the Tao I notice that urgency, anxiety and hurry up came back into my perception.  This is the Guru of life telling me to return to the roots of peace, grace, and harmony as I study the Tao.

Take Acceptance Inside- Inner Tao Smile

Practicing the inner smile takes self acceptance all the way to your core as a first step with inner tao.

Smile upon and accept… your brain, your organs, your bones, connective tissues, joints and muscles, your emotions, your skin, your look, your inventory, your chi of course, your barriers, and your core being.  Feel the return echo of this smile/acceptance.  As you peacefully smile upon all parts of yourself, the parts of yourself accept one another and move into harmony. Bringing all parts of the self into harmony (thereby ending self sabotage) is a goal of tao inner smile meditation.

When you have smiled/accepted upon the whole of yourself, then you are ready to smile and accept the whole of creation.  Then you are in alignment with creation in alignment with the tao.

Through the inner smile meditation the Tao promotes a profound openness to life without judgement, with an open heart,  in alignment with what we have been projecting.

The way of the Tao (Dao)

The Tao also known as Dao is a Chinese study of over 5,000 years and millions of individuals shifting their perceptual awareness.  Tai Chi, Chi Gong, acupuncture and martial arts come from the same root.

There is much to learn from the Tao. My blog stands as microcscopicly infinitesimal before the Tao.  Yet the way of tao also promotes unconditional self acceptance and living with an open heart.  The Tao is an open door to perceptual growth.

My first lesson of the tao is to learn to hold the inner smile.  The inner smile is simply a Taoist meditation on living with an open heart.

For a complete explanation of the inner smile follow this link.  You will learn to bring a smile into all of your being. http://www.lifeevents.org/taoist-inner-smile-meditation.htm

Savour

Savour the experience of each moment as a tool to bring more presence into your awareness.  Savour your experiences to bring consciousness of consciousness into life.

Let savoring the present moment,  take full possession of your awareness.

Smile

It is amazing how something as simple as a smile will greatly shift your perception.  As a bonus you shift the perception of almost everyone you smile upon.

You do not need to get heavy and somber about perceptual shifting.  Enjoy yourself.  Enjoy life.  That is what it is all about.

Try this.  Stand up straight for a moment and notice how you feel.  Then put a small frown on your face and notice how you feel.  Finally put a small smile on your face and notice how you feel.

Wow.  A smile will shift your perception.  Feel that subtle difference in your energy.  Practice today smiling at people and see how many smile back at you.  See how many perceptions you can shift today!

Now you know why I love great smilers.  I love the energy the give and the shift they cause.

As Michael Gilman says, seek to hold an inner smile at all times.

I wrote about posture several posts back.  This post on smiling reminds me that we need to place more attention on the body and how the posture of the body affects the flow of our energy and the shift of our perception.

Put a smile on your face and hold your chest out with your back straight and your energy flow will be greatly improved.  You put more love into the world and more comes back!

Unconditional – “I Love You”

I Love You!

Never let go of this awareness.  Do not let anything bump you off.  Do not become conditional in your love and appreciation.

This is a continuation of previous posts.  This is such an important perceptual shift that I keep coming back to it.  It is just to easy to belittle this shift, but it is the most important perceptual shift you will ever learn to make.  Your ego can not compete or exist with “I Love You.”

Hold ”I Love You” in your awareness as you interact with others and pay attention to the tremendous difference in how others treat you.  Notice the tremendous changes in your life.

notes:  Do not verbalize “I Love You” except to your family, otherwise you will set off to many dramas.

Choices

Each moment is an opportunity to choose love and appreciation.

Do Not let anything egoic bump you from love and appreciation.

I have experienced holding the shift of grace and appreciation and really enjoying my life  only to loose it as my ego locked onto the situation.  The ego can set you back for days, years, even the rest of your life.  My lesson from this experience is not to fall back into ego, but to fall back into appreciation and let the ego go. Deny your ego the authority to take you out of your heart perception of love and appreciation.  Your heart is stronger than your mind when you hold your focus there. Just remain unconditional.  Remain neutral.  Do not allow conditions to creep into your love and appreciation.

Hold onto gratitude and appreciation like it is your life preserver and you are in a storm tossed sea.  Hold onto your heart perceptions.  Do Not let go.  Do not let the mind talk you into letting go.  Do not let the drama of past experience reappearing scare you into letting go.  Let go and you drown in the ego mind. Love your life.  Love your world.  Your choice is to hold onto love and let the mind go.

Breath by breath you choose the world you live in. You choose the world of the ego or the heart. Every moment that choice displays in front of you as the world that Love built or the world of fear and pain and the belief in separation from this Good, this joy, this ecstasy that I Am.  Yael and Doug Powell

Thank Now

Thank Now for what is.

You set aside the ego and its reactive dramas.

Dogs

Be the person your dog thinks you are.

  • (As posted on the wall in Besta Wan Pizza in Cardiff California.)

The Power of Now

You enter the Power of the moment as you stop labeling and naming things.  You suspend judgement and reactive behavior.  You become egoless.  You enter the flow of Now.  You align with life as it is created.  You are no longer fighting what is.  Your actions have power because they are aligned with creation.

Court is in Session

In the Celestine Prophecy series by James Redfield the characters learned to stop another’s reactionary drama by… naming the drama the person is processing.

The next time you find yourself in a situation where you are interacting with someone caught up in a drama you can try this technique.   Note: you have to use your own judgement here as you do not want to incite violence.

Simply state in a light hearted manner.  “I see that court of …………… is in session again.”

Hold onto your own concious awareness and see if they wake up.

Do not Seek

  • Do not seek peace. Feel it in the quietness of yourself now.
  • Do not seek harmony, express harmony.
  • Do not seek love, be love.
  • Do not seek health, manifest health.
  • Do not seek impeccability, be impeccable.
  • Do not seek creation, you are creation.
  • Do not seek wealth, know your wealth.
  • Do not seek appreciation, appreciate.
  • Do not seek joy, enjoy.

What ever you seek you will ever be seeking.

What you are you will always be.

The Essence of Life

  • What is the Essence of Life?
  • We perceive it, feel it, and channel it.  Yet it remains an indescribable awareness, as if it comes from beyond form and description.

Do you notice after some people leave your presence that their essence seems to linger in you awareness?  Do you notice after you have had a particularly peaceful time in the forest, the surf, or on a walk that the essence of that peace lingers with you?

Do you notice that some individuals transfer the essence of peace,  joy,  love, appreciation, or enthusiasim.  Others seem to transfer the essence of anger, fear and frustration?

What seems apparent is that those consumed by anger, fear and frustration lack flow of the Essence of Life that comes from those possessed of presence, love, joy, appreciation and enthusiasm.  It is as if the flow of the essence of life is blocked by anger fear and frustration.  So it is.

It is easiest to perceive a great disparity of the flow of the essence of life.  Those with an great abundance or a great lack of flow of the Essence of life catch our attention.  Most of us seldom take notice of the strength of “connection” of others.  It is a subtle feeling and most are not attuned to it.

It is good to learn to become attuned to your connection to your essence.  It is good to learn to pay attention to the connection of others as well because the Essence of Life determines our very nature, existence and awareness.

You can use the techniques discussed in this blog to increase your ability to be a conduit of your connection to the Essence of Life.   Through acceptance and presence and gratitude you become a strong concious conduit of the Essence of Life.  As you shift your perception the Essence of Life brings conscious awareness into life through you.

Behind the Mind

See if you are able to hold yourself in presence longer when you hold your perceptual awareness center at the back of your head behind the mind.

I found that this perceptual shift seems to quell the mind.  I have to work with it some to see what kind of experieces I have.  You may wish to play with this perceptual orientation to see what it does for you.

You may also wish to experience shifting your center of awareness to include your whole and extended energy body.  Experiment and use what works for you to quell the mind and balance your awareness.

Happiness

  • All true happiness is found in giving.
  • All disharmony comes in wanting.

Ponder that.
