Practice Blessing Now.

Practice blessing now.     .     .

Tai Chi Breath

Use your breath to push your awareness forward past  your thoughts.  Your breath is like a tai chi movement.  Use your breath to push your life force, your chi, your awareness into the present.  With each breath push your awareness into your perceptual facilites.  See, smell, feel, listen, taste and silence.

If you have some experience with tai chi or chi gong you will have a concept of moving your chi.  For a free practice Tai Chi Chi Gong video download, visit http://www.taichi18.com/order.htm OR if you have trouble try this link.    http://www.taichi18.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=6

Practice Being Your Essence.

.     .     .

Practice Acceptance

Practice Acceptance.

  • Acceptance is alignment with creation.

All these Words

Words are full of power.  Yet these words are not me and they are not you.   Use the tools you are learning here to dissolve the words that come to you from the babble of your mind.  Pay attention to the words of power that come to you as if from contemplation from your stillness within.

The words of this blog are guideposts on your perceptual adventure. The words are not the adventure and the words are not you or me.  The perceptual shifts we are pursuing require the cessation of the  cascade of words derived from your ego.  So use the words of power and dissolve the words of blather.

Peer Pressure

Peer pressure occurs when you shift your perceptual point of view to that of another person and you do not accept yourself.  Peer pressure is where you give undo consideration to what you think others think of you. Peer pressure is a perceptual shift that robs you of your self respect and integrity and transfers your self identity to your ego.

Peer pressure perception places value on your  perception of a hallucination of what another person is thinking. Your energy and your awareness is drained to support your conflicting hallucination perceptions.  Usually your perception is you are not good enough.  This is your inner judge working against you.

The way to dissolve peer pressure is…

  1. Accept your situation as it is. Accept yourself.  Accept that Now is perfect the way it is. When you accept, you do not care what others are thinking. You are in harmony with what is.  There is no self judgement.
  2. Shift your perceptual point of view back into your core essence.
  3. From your inner being perceive your situation with grace, acceptance, and gratitude.

  1. An alternate solution is to learn to never shift your perception to ever consider what others are perceiving about you as having any importance.  Suspend judgement.  After all their thoughts and your thoughts are not the real you.  “I am not that”.

Try these exercises to dissolve peer pressure!

Suspend Internal Dialouge

Suspend Internal Dialouge to become Present. If you are going to live in the here and now with “presence” then you need to learn to shift out of our internal dialogue.  Internal dialogue steals away more of the energy and awareness from “normal” people than big dramas.  Internal dialogue  is ceaselessly and endlesslly absorbing our attention and energy.   Internal dialogue moves our perception from here and now to what was and could be.

As of this date I have yet to find a way to completely stop internal dialouge.  What works for me is to practice the perceptual shifts discussed in this blog.  Some shifts are more affective than others depending on the current situation and enviornment.  You can use concious breathing, getting in the gap, unconditional love, beauty, Eagles perception, invocations, tai chi etc.  For me during my daily life;  invocations, breath awareness, gap awareness, and contemplation are the most successful ways to reduce reactive thoughts.

“You are not me!” 3 Steps to end Dramas

You can clear reactivity behaviors by holding the observation  ” You are not me!”, when you recognize a drama reaction triggering.  With this tool you can gain your freedom from learned reactive behaviors. You become a non reactive person through acceptance and awareness.

My acceptance and awareness of my reactivity followed by my perception that it was not the real me seemed to detatch the “entity” and move it away. This was an interesting experience.  It was like my behavior was a field of reactivity, like it was a living entity, a parasite living on me and pretending to be me.

Last night I awoke from a dream in which a dream event had triggered my reactive behavior. LOL. I followed the advice in Eckart Tolle’s book,  A New Earth.  First I accepted that a reactive pain body had triggered and was pretending to be me.  Then I held my awareness on the field of reactivity.  As I did this I noticed that the field of reactivity seemed to be to the left of my body and wanting to move behind me out of my awareness.  I held my awareness on this pain body and repeated, “You are not me!”, to it mentally several times.  In my inner perception the field of reactivity seemed to become detached from my body.  It seemed to weaken and dissipate as the “You are not me!” statement created space between me and it. I held my awareness like this for a few minutes.  As the reactivity field moved away and dissipated I felt that a change had occurred in me, but I would have to wait and see if the same reactivity was triggered again another time.

As this parasitic like field of reactivity moved away I felt like I needed to do something like intend a shield to protect my family and home from its return.  I did not want this parasite causing reactive behavior and lodging in my children or family.  In my past I have experienced the energy of reactivity moving back and forth between me and other individuals. I did not want this thing to move back to haunt me through a loved one.  I energetically shielded my family and intended that it move far away, bizarre as this seems. Remember I had just been dreaming.

This clearing tool seems to work well with a dream scenario at night when I have time to process the feelings and my awareness.  I will have to wait and see what affect it has when I am working and not at liberty to stop and contemplate. It may be that it is enough to recognize reactive behaviors triggering and work to clear them at convenient times.

After this experience I sat in quiet contemplation.   Several other memories of being terrified by reactivity triggers came to mind.  I felt I was able to clear them as well simply by placing my attention of “You are not me!” on them.

Summarizing, these are the 3 steps to neutralize dramas and reactive behaviors.

  1. Become aware that a drama behavior has triggered, accept what you are experiencing.
  2. Hold your awareness on the drama.
  3. Hold the awareness that “You are not me” on the drama.

“You are not me!” signifies the perception of self realization.

Building Presence

Progressing through the adventure of this blog it has become obvious that building Presence, staying perceptually aware in the present moment, is an important milestone in personal developement.

Many of the techniqes discussed in previous posts will help you to shift to be more present.

As you build your Presence, you become aware of being present in the moment more and more of the time. You spend less and less time in the daydreams and dramas of the mind.   As you build your own Presence you bring more of your real infinite self into life’s interactions.  You can not be present and be in a reactive mental drama at the same time.  By being present, your own  issues will resolve

As you relate to others from Presence, you open the window for them to enter Presence.  You assist others in stepping out of their reactive dramas into Presence.

Practicing Presence you  begin to see more presence in yourself and others as you interact. Intentionally look for those moments when you perceive something special coming through the stillness in yourself and others.  Look for that posture of awareness in others that says I am here. Seek to copy presence awareness when you see it.  Bring your sense of Presence forward in your  own posture and your own alertness.  Practice Presence.

It is funny, most of our lives we are trained to practice non awareness, non Presence, to give up our perceptual awareness because the Mind Machine wants you to function as a robotic extension.  Well now you have the tools to become your creative self again.  You have the ability to become more perceptually aware.  You can break the shackles of the collective mind machine and be here now.  Your reward is the loss of your reactive behavior.

In Presence you are able to love, appreciate, enjoy, without condition and without attachment.

As a word of caution, do not point out to others that they are unconscious or reactive.  You will just push them deeper into reactive behaviours.  It is better to bring your presence into your relationship with them, and to see if you can perceive  presence returning to them.

A measure of your growth towared full awareness is to measure what percentage of your time you are able to live in the present moment without daydreams and dramas.

“What is a spirit”, Dad?

Your spirit is the real you that lives inside of your body. Your spirit is your life force.  Your spirit is the watcher of your life.  Your spirit is the watcher of your thoughts behind your thoughts. Your spirit watches your life  from within your body.  Your body and your thoughts are like the clothes your spirit puts on when you are alive.   If you want to know your spirit then pay attention to the watcher within you.  The watcher is you.  The watcher is your spirit.  Your thoughts, and words and your body are the clothes of your spirit.

When you are through with your body your spirit moves on as if removing old clothes.  A ghost is said to be a spirit that is still attached to our world even though his body is dead.

You think that your mind is you, because it is always demading your attention.  The real you is the part of you that can observe the mind.

This is my answer to my 7 year old this morning.

Compassion

Compassion comes from knowing that almost every reactive person is coming from their personal ego that has been imposed upon them from the collective ego.

How can you be anything but compassionate to others when you know they are not aware that they are not aware.  They are unconcious.  They are living caught up in drama.  They are tranced.  They have not learned to stand back in awareness and know they are not their thoughts.

The best we can do is to strive to be concious our awareness and through our awareness bring awareness to others.

Body Awareness

Shift your perception to feeling the energy and life inside of your body.  This perceptual shift holds your awareness out of the ego. Learn to hold this awareness as you interact with others throughout the day.

Learn this shift by practicing holding your awareness on the aliveness inside your hands.  Move your perception to also include the aliveness in your upper torso, then lower torso, then head, legs, feet and arms.  Hold awareness of the aliveness of your whole body.

Next practice walking in nature and holding your awareness in your alive body while perceiving where you are.  As you practice this perception you can broaden it to use throughout your working day.  As you hold your perception on your energy body and your relationships throughout the day you will find that your sense of Presence and enjoyment increases greatly.

It almost seems like a paradox: When you are in touch with the inner body, you are not identified with your body anymore, nor are you identified with your mind…    Eckart Tolle fromA New Earth.

Like the breathing exercise the intent of this exercise is to shift your perceptual awareness into presence and out of the mind!

An example of a person with great presence is an athlete or dancer who retains their body awareness even when they are relating to others.  If you can grasp their alignment you can seek to copy and hold it for yourself.

The urgency

My personal ego and the collective ego thrive on urgency, an urgency to get out of Now!  As I step back this morning as myself as awareness and place the light of my attention on this urgency of the mind; the urgency just dissolved.

You can do the same.  It is a great relief to not feel the pressure of “I have to” continuously beating in the mind.

The ego dissolves in the light and stillness of awareness. The ego is absent in Now.

being human

You are a being of awareness having a human perception.

You are a being human rather than a human being.
